2024 ARCTIC CAT SNOWMOBILES RELEASED – FULL MODEL OVERVIEW

ALL-NEW CATALYST PLATFORM DETAILS

CATALYST models within the High Performance Trail, Crossover and Mountain categories share four general commonalities:

1. CATALYST PLATFORM – CATALYST is the lightest, strongest and most rigid platform design in the snowmobile industry. Performance engineered with a low center of gravity, CATALYST exudes the industry’s most rider-influenced platform. Built around the laydown architecture of the C-TEC2 engine, the one-piece front structure is built from ultra-high-strength steel which is lighter than the competition and exceedingly stronger. With no joints or fasteners, the one-piece chassis sheds unnecessary weight and possesses rigidity that won’t loosen over time. Paired to a one-piece aluminum tunnel, the design is strong, light and easily serviceable.  

2. C-TEC2 LAYDOWN ENGINE ADVANTAGE– Arctic Cat retains an industry-advantage with their C-TEC2 laydown engine design. The potent performing 599cc C-TEC2 powerplant has Electronic Fuel Injection and leads the 125 HP class. Robust, yet lightweight, the laydown engine keeps the center of gravity low where it belongs and has a strong power-to-weight advantage in the CATALYST platform.

3. ADAPT DRIVE AND DRIVEN CLUTCHES – The ADAPT CVT system has proven to be one of Arctic Cat’s most efficient, high-performing drive and driven clutches. The compact design is lightweight with an advanced idler system which maintains constant belt deflection throughout the RPM range. The result is minimized wear and maximum throttle response throughout the life of the belt. 

4. ARCTIC CAT BELT DRIVE – The all-new Belt Drive system is a departure from the traditional Arctic Cat chaincase, but the benefits outweigh any of the unknowns. Eliminating the rotating mass and weight of a traditional chaincase allows the 600cc C-TEC2 engine to spool up quicker providing better throttle response, instantaneous acceleration and frees up horsepower to transfer it to the snow more efficiently. The belt drive also eliminates the hassle of checking and replacing oil levels within a chaincase. Once your belt tension is set, the new belt drive is nearly service-free and hands-off. (Gearing varies between models)

CATALYST ATACH ACCESSORY MOUNTING SYSTEM

ATACH by Arctic Cat precipitates a change in how riders experience their snowmobiles through the use of customization. More easily and rapidly than ever before, these lockable accessories quick attach/detach via points in the rear tunnel of all CATALYST models. Riders can carry two ATACH accessories including Lite, Mid, Large or High Country pack sizes, Saddlebags, Fuel Caddy and even two-up passenger seats.
