I’m thankful that the 2015-2016 Snocross season kicks-off this weekend in Duluth, Minn.
I’m thankful that racers will come from all over the world to take a green flag and, hopefully, a checkered flag too.
I’m thankful their bearded ancestors, who raced long ago on iron dogs, were able to stand up and forge a path that would eventually lead to the rock stars and high flyers we enjoy today.
And I’m thankful it’s Friday, Nov. 27, 2015.
Must be a Mod, no headlights.
Hellstar Jetstar with the innovative three-way front suspension: coil springs, leaf springs and shocks. Must have been early in the race…fuel load has the rear dragging.
Cool vintage photo! I love how he’s standing up because the sled media told all of us that Blair Morgan invented that style of riding. I always thought that was funny since I’ve got videos from ’85 of me standing up while riding a sled. So did my friends and everyone else who also rode motorcycles and know that was a more comfortable way to get through the bumps.
