ARCTIC CAT RACERS HEAD TO THE BELLY OF THE BEAST.

The Amsoil Championship Snocross Tour kicks off two days of racing this weekend (February 10-11) during the 41st running of the Grand Prix Ski-Doo de Valcourt at the Circuit Yvon Duhamel. With current Pro points leader Elias Ishoel out due to injury (Elias is making great progress after a horrific crash in Deadwood where he suffered a broken femur, fractured elbow, collapsed lung, liver lacerations, broken ribs, and a fractured vertebra.) Cat Pro riders Daniel Benham (currently sitting 9th in points), Jacob Yurk (6th in points and coming off a podium finish), and Pro Lite rider Trent Wittwer (currently 6th in national points) will go to battle in the backyard of Ski-Doo. The Grand Prix represents rounds 7 and 8 of the national tour, which means the teams are approaching the mid-way point of the season. As always, you can catch all the action live on FloRacing (subscription required).

This weekend also marks the kick-off to the Rocky Mountain States Hillclimb Association (RMSHA) season. Qualifying for the Salt Pass Border Dash in Geneva, Idaho took place yesterday and the competition will commence today. Once again you can watch on FloRacing and following live timing and scoring HERE. Good luck to all racers representing Cat this weekend, and safe racing to all the competitors.
