The original Cat Girl (above) debuted as a marketing “angle” in 1970 and lasted just one season. I wonder who (back then) was objecting to her?
Well, some ideas deserve a second chance. And at the Arctic Cat 50th Celebration, Cat Girl returned (to the thunderous applause of many during the fashion show).
She was a popular photo-op during the weekend, especially during an impromtu re-creation of the 1970 shot.
And she was one of the few attractions that could momentarily upstage the Boss Cats. Meow!
I’m not sure if we’ll see more of Cat Girl in the future. I’m certain there will be no Cat Guy.
