I was excited to sell an AC1 94 Rewind Wrap kit to longtime ArcticInsider follower, Jeremiah, who told me it was going to be added to one of his restorations. He recently sent photos with a note, and although its shaping up nicely with the kit applied, I can’t wait to see the finished product. Here’s what he had to say:
“Here are a few photos of the restoration I’m working on. We built this sled from the ground up, and its yet to be finished. Next season, I’ll work on removing all the green (bumpers, spindles, skid frame) from the sled. I’m also working on an all-black seat that will have the 94 graphics screen printed on the back of the seat side panels.
This is an 800, but we put 600 stickers on it…when my dad bought a new 94 ZR700, he purchased 580 graphics for it. So in the same fashion, that’s what we did with this one.” – Jeremiah
Pretty sled. That white block would keep me from it probably, but also a good spot for license numbers.
The checkered flags on the left side of the sled are in the wrong spot. They go in front of the ZR. Also, the 94s didn’t say their displacement on the center of the front. I believe the 600 would’ve been like the 700, all numbers the same size, as opposed to the 440 and 580, in which the center number is bigger than the outer 2. I never got that. But these are just my nitpicks. VERY beautiful, and reminiscent of better times to say the least!
Also, my comment on the Blair Morgan story is still awaiting moderation.
