A deposit of $500 or $1,000 will be required depending upon model. A second order time frame will follow from February 13 through March 5, 2024 where you will be able to pre-order both online at ArcticCat.com or at an authorized Arctic Cat dealer. The early order period will also net you a 24-month factory warranty versus 12-month when you purchase in-season next year (extended warranty excludes the ZR 120 and ZR 200 ES). Any information on the AC5S shocks?
Lots of banter today about these shocks. What we do know is these are Arctic Cat designed shocks, they have a 5-position compression adjustment; and will be featured at all four corners. I hope to get more information on this shock and other updates to the 2025 lineup soon.
Hopefully it is all 4 positions on the sled, and they finally ditch the 1.5″ mid shock across the board.
I spent quite a bit of time trying to find out more info for a YouTube buyer’s guide video and was either ignored or forgotten when I asked questions. Nobody seems to know, and I find that a little frustrating. If I were considering the Sno Pro package, the lack of information would be a deal breaker. There’s no way to know if it’s better and that makes it worse. Normally, I’m supportive, but the clear and total failure to brag is perplexing.
Ordered my new ZR 600 Catalyst with the 137″ track on Saturday at Hubert’s in Thief River Falls. I like the all black color and will also be installing the new G8 gauge.
Im struggling so bad. I want to order a ZR 858 Sno Pro, but its 50 degrees, sunny and no snow. Ma Nature is making me stingy with my cash right now!
Glad I bought my 24 atac 129, blue. The 25 colors do nothing for me, and the price increase needs to stop.
Does anyone know what if any changes from the 2024 catalyst, to the 2025 catalyst? Anything different at all? Yes they have a new 858, but what about the chassis.
Still no seat. I’m out. And to pay that for a 600 ditch banger, not happening.
Canadian prices are getting stupid. By the time you add all the fees your at 20,000 for a 600. No thanks!!!!
Ordered a ZR 858 Sno Pro 137″… is the gauge going to be the new “sport” gauge or the old school one? No info but too excited to wait to find out.
looks like the former Deluxe gauge that was used on the RXC and ATAC models is no loonger being used. Just the little standard gauge used as was used on the base model Catalyst for 2024.
The base gauge for all catalysts is the new “sport” gauge.
These sleds will come with the G8
ZR w/ ATAC
Riot w/ ATAC
M Mountain Cat
M Mountain Cat w/ ATAC
The “deluxe” gauge that has been around since 2014 will continue to be on all “legacy” sleds
As I stated. Thanks for backing me up.
No, you said “the former Deluxe gauge that was used on the RXC and ATAC models is no loonger being used” (direct quote including bad spelling, and punctuation)
The truth is:
The “deluxe” gauge that has been around since 2014 will continue to be on all “legacy” sleds
Again, thank you for backing. me up. I appreciate that. I made my correction, but you glanced over it like you always do. Read below next time so you don’t come across as a liar.
Any idea if there will be any accessory front bumpers or ski loops in the new new ‘apple green’ color available in ’25 to match the similar colored items on the Atac models?
I was wrong. It is still being used on the Pro Cross based sleds.
as usual
Is there any benefit to ordering in this first wave from that goes to Feb 2 versus the second wave?
Guessing guaranteed getting the sled.
Pretty much guarantees you an 858, second wave you take the risk of not getting one due to quantity limitations…I’m guessing if a particular model sold very well during the first wave it might not be available during the second…I could be wrong though.
That is a very good take.
Ordered an 858RXC from Arctic Adventures in NY can’t wait!
Why don’t they have a 7000 with power steering. My wife doesn’t need 200hp but she does need easy steering. Big fail!!
I’d bet its a combination of 7000 sales being so small to begin with, combined with the take rate of that sled with a $1000-$1500 price increase.
Have her try a 600 catalyst, it does everything better than a 7000.
I agree with you, Krom. On Facebook, it’s amazing how many guys are posting about their wives getting on a Catalyst and not wanting to get off.
I agree Krom, why anybody would buy the 7000 over the 600 is beyond me. And I have to laugh at some turning their nose up at the 167 horsepower. It’s about the rush getting there. That’s what yanks my crank, boys. Our 2 mint 15,s and my 18 are so great, when we step up to the 858, I won,t be able to part with them. GO CAT GO😁😁😁😁😁😁
I’m with you, no power steering on the 7000 bad call. As far as a Catalyst doing everything better. Not so sure about that.
IMHO the 7000 is the worst sled in the lineup. Other than maybe a few mph on top end there isn’t anything it does better than a 600, the 600 is even quieter at cruising speed. All the extra weight is right between the ski’s and high up, contributing to the steering effort.
Even reliability and low maintence costs aren’t on the side of the 7000. A lot of them don’t make it 10k miles without needing the valves adjusted, and its cheaper and easier to change pistons on a 600, than adjust valves.
They are different animals.
Ride the new Catylist. Its like having power steering vs old chassis and way easier to handle. Honestly cant believe how well it steers with just 4″ carbides.
Need info on Arctic dealers in CNY. I have been buying Arctic products from the same dealer location for 30 years. Sadly they have closed(12/23). Any suggestions? Need to order 858rxc tomorrow.
Website has a find a dealer on it.
Yes , was looking for first hand opinions.
Arctic Adventures in Rosendale, cannot beat the prices and service!
I didn’t think they were allowed to sell below MSRP for a snow check ?
Pretty sure it means they cannot advertise it.
If you’re in CNY you can’t beat the prices or service from Sun and Snow, and they should be close to you.
Yes, I’ll check them out, thanks
You need to check out SUN AND SNOW out of New York mills. By far the best cat dealer on the planet. I won,t go anywhere else.
Just curious what ppl think of the open foot wells on the catalyst, the procross footwell was a good source of heat for your feet. I noticed the left footwell is completely closed off from engine heat to escape and is open on the side on the catalyst?
AJ and Luke Lester posted a video shootout of the Polaris 650 Indy XCR 128, Ski-Doo MXZ X-RS 600R, and Arctic Cat CATALYST ZR 600 on the Supertrax website.
The Polaris took top honors overall. The Catalyst came in second, the Ski Doo third.
The Catalyst got gigged on fit & finish / quality, dated rear suspension, and to a lesser degree the front suspension.
Like the Red Sox, maybe next year….
