Get educated and keep yourself out of harm’s way this winter! This class is hosted by professional avalanche instructor Mike Duffy.
Hands-on transceiver training, effective daily checks and preparations, terrain evaluation, route finding, accident statistics and reviews, snow pits, stability tests, gear, managing avalanche problems, and more. Learn the best techniques for riding in avalanche terrain.
Students should bring their avalanche gear to class. Transceivers will be provided if needed. Concise and proven techniques by a professional.
