What a weekend in Iowa for the COR Powersports cross-country race – up and downs all weekend for us. Saturday morning we qualified for the front row of our Mod final, everything was running good and our Arctic Cat ZR mod was on rails. Lined up for the final and the sled shut off on the line as the flag flew, putting us 2:45 behind the leader, I charged to 10th and set the fastest laps of the race so it was refreshing to know we had a winning sled under us but the bad luck got the best of us.
Sunday we qualified second for the front row of our Pro Stock final, due to bad weather we raced a timed final. We jumped to an early lead, as the final went on we lost the lead and brought it home for a 2nd place finish.
It was good to get a solid finish but we are hungry to win this weekend in Park rapids! Huge thank you to our sponsors! – Zach Herfindahl

It’s amazing how you guys dial those sleds in to handle the ice, awesome job. Glad to see the Iowa contribute to the sport, there is a lot of cat loyalists down here. We just need some dealers back!
