Former Team Arctic and Enduro Team Deere cross-country champion Brian Nelson experienced some remarkable moments during his illustrious racing career.
Here he recounts many of them in a podcast conducted by veteran snowmobile journalists Gord Avann and Hal Armstrong.
Nelson’s memory and attention to detail is uncanny and a great listen. At nearly an hour and forty minutes, it’s a long one. But definitely worth the time.
Brian was my hero #52 Stock car daze in the 70’s. I was real fortunate to grow up in Willmar, MN. Then in 1988 I went to work for Dale Nelson Brian’s DAD,”Crunch” at the International dealerships. These were the good old days. John you should get some old stock car pics from Brian in the 70’s!!
Excellent! We need more podcasts for snowmobilers, especially those that tell stories of the past. Great job….
Brian has some great stories, and he certainly doesn’t pull any punches, kudos!
Thanks Jon for shareing the show, it was fascinating talking to Brian.
