Press Release –
TEAM ARCTIC SHOWS NO MERCY AT USCC MUNISING 300
13 Wins in 18 Classes plus Nine Podium Sweeps
Thief River Falls, Minn. (March 2, 2010) – In a familiar story line this season, Team Arctic racers showed no mercy at the USCC Munising 300 in Munising, Mich., thoroughly drubbing the competition with 13 class wins and nine 1-2-3 podium sweeps.
Racing with a newfound confidence from having won the previous two races, Arctic Cat engineer Brian Dick kept his streak going by taking the Pro 600 class in convincing fashion and establishing himself as the most likely candidate for the season championship. Dick’s teammate D.J. Ekre once again finished second, with these two leading a Team Arctic Sweep of the top-six finishers.
Dick led an all-out onslaught for the Christian Bros. Racing team. Taking a break from snocross, Cory Davis won the Pro Open class ahead of teammates Ekre and Dick, while Logan Christian won Semi Pro 600 and Semi Pro Improved. Not to be outdone, CBR’s Zach Pattyn won both Expert 85 classes, giving the team six victories for the weekend.
Other statistics underline Team Arctic’s utter dominance of USCC cross-country at Munising: Winning 35 of 18 classes, taking the top-eight in Expert 85, the top-nine in Sport 85 and the top-10 in Jr. 14-17.
Makes you question if the other brands even showed up? (They did, but left deflated and dejected from suffering another beating.)
“Every week in USCC cross-country, our drivers, teams and sleds prove absolutely dominant,” said Team Manager Mike Kloety. “We have a winning history in cross-country, and what’s happening this season in USCC is fueling that legend.”
This weekend also marked the conclusion of the Alaskan Irondog cross-country, and though Team Arctic didn’t win it this year, our teams took second through fourth – with Doug Dixen and Stephen Spence taking second followed by Brad Helwig and Eric Quam in third – all aboard F6 Sno Pros. Congratulations to everyone who competed in this historic venue.

Congratulations to Brian and DJ for taking the Pro 600 and Pro Open points championships, respectively. Hat’s off to the rest of the Team Arctic riders who dominated the cross country racing scene…
14 championships out of 18 classes.
That’s domination.
Yawn, what else is new. Do you think A/C would build Dale Jr.s next car so maybe he could actually win for once. They obviously know how to do it. Ha ha ha.
Anyways great job as usual A/C. Purrfection as expected. Next stop Sweden with the A-Train.
