I remember seeing this machine at the Rupp booth in the Minneapolis Snow show. The Ski-Doo Double Eagle was also there. It must have been around 1970 …
I hate admitting that I am old enough to remember this….and remember thinking it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen….I remember it sitting very close to the Speedway snowmobile display….but I can’t remember what race I was attending. 🙁 Too old.
For me, it was the Boss Cat! That was more sled oriented. Not automotive, but actual snowmobile engines.
Correction: Boss Cat III had the sled engines. 4-650cc Kawasaki’s.
I miss the days of crazy stuff getting built.Kind of boring these days.
Didn’t the Rupp sno sport dragster have a Ford motor in it??
