Thomas Sno Sports in Ogilvie, Minn., is hosting a 2014 Arctic Cat Demo Ride day on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014.
You can test-ride a new 2014 model 9000, 8000, 7000, 6000 and 5000-Series Arctic Cat, in ZR and XF flavors, as well as Bearcat and Touring models. Representatives from Arctic Cat will join the Thomas Sno Sports staff, local snowmobile club members, and some members of the snowmobile media in participation.
Plan for a most-of-the-day, 110-mile ride with stops every 10 miles or so to switch sleds.
This is a free event, but you must be 21 years or older, and you must also bring your own snowmobile (along with current registration and gasoline), as all participants will begin the ride on their own sled.
After registering (call 320.556.3467 or email arctic@bctelco.net), simply arrive at Thomas Sno Sports before 8:30 am and be ready for an awesome day of riding that will last until about 4pm. A mid-day lunch stop is planned, at each participant’s expense.
Are any ArcticInsiders going from the Metro area? I plan on going. Wonder how much flack Ill take for bringing a SkiDoo? I honestly dont care cuz I want to dump it. I want a ZR 6000 in worse way!
All brands are welcome on our ride Josh. If you would like to join us please contact us as noted above. Sign ups are coming in nicely and everything indicates that we will have a full ride again this year.
Are any dmeo rides planned for SD this year.
John do I get a prize if I can identify where that last picture was taken ?
As of this evening we are calling the registration closed. The sign ups have been overwhelming, this is looking to be our largest event ever. Thank you to all that are signed up…a few inches of snow are in tonight’s forecast and groomers from 4 different snowmobile clubs are about to fire up! Look for a recap on our fb page or on this very website a few days after the event.
I recognize that place. The picture is from the the 2012 Dealer Demo ride which was held in the U.P. at the lunch stop at the Bear Belly Bar & Grille in Lac La Belle, MI.
The riding conditions up there were absolutely fantastic that day.
