Will There Be a Haydays 2020?

Ive been asked many times recently if the popular “Official Start to Winter” event, Haydays, will happen this year in North Branch, MN.

I’m one of several people who work on creating the Haydays Annual Program you see in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan state snowmobile magazines through MSPN Inc.

Here is a note we received from the Sno Barons the day Minnesota announced it would be cancelling its State Fair.

I truly hope Haydays isn’t cancelled, and if it does, I have been asking myself how this will affect buying patterns for the thousands who attend – Will more people buy online? Will dealership visits increase? What about the used market? Will Facebook Marketplace be flooded with more used snowmobile product typically found in the Haydays swap?

 

 

“The Sno Barons Snowmobile Club have been working diligently to produce the 54th Hay Days.  In light of a decision today to cancel the Minnesota State Fair (scheduled in September for the week before Hay Days) the Sno Barons are revisiting all factors related to holding the event in cooperation with local and state officials.  A decision as to whether the 54th Hay Days can be held as planned will be communicated on June 11th.

Note the deadline for Vendor payment has been extended until June 30th.  

If any additional information becomes available before June 11th, I will be in touch.
